We loved our stay at Dumble Cottage in Ashbourne! The cottage we stayed in, Haven Cottage, was amazing. The interior was beautifully designed and felt just like home. The owners, Vicki and Tim, were cute and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The surrounding area was amazing, with fine views to wake up to and watch the sunset. The cottage was so cozy, the bed and bedding felt luxurious, and we had a perfect night's sleep. The added bonus of the swimming pool was fantastic, and we enjoyed every minute of it. There were plenty of walks and charming villages nearby, which we and our dog thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't want to leave and cannot wait to come back again!
The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Private pool, a garden, and free private parking? Well, I can pretend I'm a millionaire for a few days. And the free WiFi? I can Instagram my posh self in this rustic cottage.
Oh, how I struggled to use the television, and the non-existent mobile reception was simply delightful.

Although the television and mobile reception had their challenges, it didn't dampen our experience.

The cottage we stayed in was cozy and well-decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket filled with essentials and a bottle of Prosecco, a lovely touch! The owners were friendly and helpful, providing us with information about local walks and nearby pubs/restaurants. The swimming pool was a highlight of our stay, offering exclusive use for each cottage and allowing us to relax and unwind.
We faced a few issues during our stay. The cooker in our cottage tripped the fuse, rendering it unusable.
